Warranty Coverage

Warner Stone ensures that its stone surface products are free from manufacturing defects and will perform as expected under normal use for fifteen (15) years from the installation date. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to subsequent owners.  

This warranty does not extend to issues arising from improper handling, fabrication, installation, or maintenance. Additionally, it does not cover damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, chemical or physical abuse, or staining.  

If a defect due to manufacturing is confirmed, Warner Stone will determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or a credit equal to the original purchase price of the product. This warranty does not cover costs related to installation, fabrication, or any indirect or incidental expenses.  

To initiate a claim, the purchaser must provide proof of purchase and submit a written notice to Warner Stone within 30 days of discovering the defect. Warner Stone reserves the right to inspect the product and determine the validity of the claim.  

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

This warranty does not apply to damage or defects caused by:  

– Improper installation, fabrication errors, or any modifications made after installation.  

– Physical damage from impact, such as cracks, chips, or scratches caused by heavy or sharp objects. While Warner Stone surfaces offer high scratch resistance, they are not scratch-proof.  

– Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions, including placement near fireplaces, outdoor areas, or swimming pools.  

– Contact with harsh chemicals, including cleaners with high alkaline/pH levels, solvents, and products containing trichloroethane or methylene chloride (commonly found in paint strippers and removers).  

– Direct exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, excessive heat, or open flames.  

– Natural wear over time, including discoloration, changes in texture, or fading due to sunlight or environmental factors.  

– Inherent variations in color, pattern, or texture, as slight differences between slabs and batches are natural and expected.  

– Book-matched or vein-matched designs that do not align perfectly between slabs, with a variation of ±15mm per vein considered normal.  

– Natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods, or other catastrophic events.  

– Neglect, lack of proper care, or failure to follow recommended maintenance guidelines.  

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not guarantee absolute uniformity in appearance.  

Available Remedies Under This Warranty

Warner Stone’s responsibility under this warranty, or any other applicable consumer guarantee, is strictly limited. In resolving a valid claim, Warner Stone reserves the right to take one or more of the following actions:  

1. Replace the affected product with an equivalent item; or
2. Issue a refund equal to the original purchase price of the product.  

Warner Stone is not responsible for installation, fabrication, or any additional costs beyond the product itself. The resolution offered will be at Warner Stone’s sole discretion.
